Customer Reviews:

  • "Its not a good book about the Jobim work. I'm brazilian and others like me can say the same. It's not even close to what a Jobim can do. This one can guide you a little bit, but you will be disapointed with it. Trust me!"
-- Antonio Bandeiras from Rio de Janeiro - BRAZIL, February 20, 2003

Antonio Bandeiras rated this title's difficulty level as: Intermediate/advanced

  • "I have worked through two of the arrangements and they are excellent. Rich harmonies and playful rhythms. This book offers a clear way for the fingerstyle guitarist to learn how the "violao" is played in Brazil. I wish Brian Hodel had written more books. I would buy them all. Finally, you can't beat the price."
